**The FA process through GSWW can be lengthy and has probably changed since you did it last. PLEASE, educate yourself for anything new for 2025 and then apply ASAP (their website says processing takes up to 14 days during non-peak season and up to 21 during peak season!).
If you are approved, BE MINDFUL OF WHAT YOU USE YOUR AID FOR AND HOW MUCH YOU HAVE LEFT! We have had families who received aid for more than one camp/event, but ran through their funding and then had to pay out of pocket for our camp (or other events they signed up for).**
Kayak Community Camp requires a $50 deposit at the time of registration. This is not included in financial aid and must be paid before your camper is placed on the camp roster.

Volunteer camper fees are deeply discounted as a thank you for donating a week of your time to us and our camp! Fees and registrations are due no later than May 31, 2025. Children and grandchildren of staff are eligible for the discounted rate.
With our new registration software, we are able to offer payment plans on camp registrations.
When you get to checkout, you will be given a few different options to break down the amount owed into smaller payments throughout the registration period, if desired. You can log into your account and pay your balance at any time.
For those utilizing Financial Aid, choose the option to pay the balance at the end of the registration period. Once we receive confirmation of Financial Aid, we will credit the account. The standard camp fee ($360 less the deposit) will be requested for Financial Aid, providing the camper is registered by April 30, 2025. If you don't apply for FA early, you may get charged the balance near the last day of the month, so do not delay in applying for Financial Aid! Should you incur the charge and your FA is approved, we will refund the amount paid out of pocket, minus the deposit.
For those utilizing Cookie Dough*, choose the option to pay the balance at the end of the registration period. Once you have received your Cookie Dough funds, send us an email with the name on the card, full card number, expiration date, CVV # (usually 3 digits on the back) and the amount we should charge to the card. From there, we will credit your account. If the Cookie Dough and the deposit you paid at registration don't quite cover the cost, we will contact you. You will then be able to log into your Amilia/Smart Rec account and pay the balance.
If you have a Top Cookie Seller*, choose the option to pay the balance at the end of the registration period. Forward the verification email showing your Scout earned half-price camp to us at kayakcommcamp@gmail.com. Once verified, we will credit your account. You will then be able to log into your Amilia/Smart Rec account and pay the balance.
Cookie Dough users waiting for 2025 CD funds to pay for camp will pay the standard fee as long as they have registered and paid the deposit by April 30, 2025.
