Formerly "patch design contest", we've modernized our design contest. Welcome "Sketch the Spirit", the art contest we hold each year which determines the camp theme logo for the year. Any registered camper may submit one entry. Volunteers vote for their three favorite designs and the designer with the most votes wins a FREE trip to camp!
The top 3 designers are announced on the first day of camp and their artwork is posted at the boat dock for everyone to see throughout camp.
The winning art is forever emblazoned on our camp shirts as well as our camp patch for that year. We pridefully display each winning design while we are at camp every year, dating back to year one - 1984!
Art for the contest needs to be roughly 3" in size (circular) and hand-drawn/colored by the registered camper. Designs should correlate with the camp theme for the year and should not contain text (we will add the theme, year, etc.). Entries can be emailed to kayakcommcamp@gmail.com.
Entries must be received by April 15th to be considered. One entry per camper please.
